Every EMS Ag Solutions product is handmade in our facility right here in Wooster, Ohio. Each unit is assembled, inspected, and packaged by our own team before it ships to you.

Our moisture tester works with a wide range of agricultural commodities including corn, wheat, rice, soybeans, dry beans, hay, silage, forage, sunflower, nuts, seeds, sorghum, wood chips, and more. Contact us if you have a specific commodity in mind and we can advise on recommended drying times.

The formula is: Moisture % = ((Wet Weight − Dry Weight) ÷ Wet Weight) × 100. Download our free Moisture Content Worksheet for a guided, step-by-step walkthrough of the calculation. It's designed so you can print copies and fill one out at the bin for every test you run.

The EMS crop moisture tester operates on standard 110V / 60Hz — the same outlets found throughout homes, shops, and barns across the United States. No special wiring or adapters are required. Just plug it into a standard wall outlet and you're ready to go.

Yes — we sell every replacement part separately so your tester keeps working for decades. Available replacement parts include: Specimen Container, Replacement Power Cord + Clip, Replacement Thermostat, and Replacement Digital Scale. All are available on our Products page.

The built-in timer is adjustable from 0 to 60 minutes. Recommended drying times vary by crop type and sample size — specific guidance is included in the Instruction Booklet. As a general reference, most corn and soybean samples test well in the 30–60 minute range depending on initial moisture level.
